THE GOBLIN FASHION PATUFET FASHION

Children in the first cycle have enjoyed once more one of the most beautiful traditional storybooks by Charles Perrault: Cinderella. They have learnt the names of all the characters in the story, learnt lots of things about the story, they have acted it out in class and also have had the chance to see a fantastic show by the company IPA. In class we saw the video in the following link: And we also played with this interactive story: Children in 2 nd grade are preparing a new SUPERPERFORMANCE of this tale that will be recorded and uploaded in this blog. Last week students in 2 nd grade performed this wonderful story for the little children in P3, P4, P5 and 1 st grade. They were brilliant and they enjoyed themselves a lot! See the complete photo album in the English Blog.

Patufets and Follets are such great actors and actresses that they have started planning a new SUPER PERFORMANCE! Now the story they are going to act out is a traditional tale. Here you have a version of the story…

Students in 2 nd grade have also revised colours, numbers and animals, once again through a beautiful Eric Carle’s storybook. They are able to tell the story with their own animal puppets made in class! Have you seen our fantastic storytellers? And if you liked the story, here you have the video. Enjoy yourselves!

A fantastic performance! Once more our students have proved they are great actors and actresses. After so many hours practising the script in class, preparing all the materials, painting the murals and so on, the resultat has been brilliant. I can only say I feel very proud of them and I want to say thank you for their effort. I also want to say that the show would have not been possible without the teachers help. Thank you, partners! Bufons and Mataties are very busy at the moment. They have a wonderful surprise for their families: they are going to act a story out in June. So by now they are studying the script, colouring the masks and drawing the decorations for the performance. They will present 2 stories. Here is a clue... But it's a surprise!

Students in 2nd grade love playing computer games, so we have spent a couple of sessions doing so. They have enjoyed themselves with Tilly, a friendly parrot that guides them all through the Fun Fair. Children have played games related to topics such as: family, animals, food, parts of the body, clothes and so on. Look! They are so concentrated, aren't they?

Hello, everybody! Students in 2nd grade are now studying the animals on the farm. Now they know all the animals and what they say. They have enjoyed the story “The very busy spider”, another masterpiece by the writer Eric Carle. Would you like to watch the video about the busy spider? And did you know that Old Mc Donald had a farm with lots of animals? Bufons and Mataties have created their own farms with very interesting and colourful animals. We will upload a photo album very soon…

“Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the nicest of them all?” Who doesn’t remember this chunk? Of course, it’s the magic mirror in the story we are working in 2nd and 3rd grade. Next Friday we are going to watch the play and we can’t wait to see the Princess and the 7 dwarfs… and, of course, the evil Queen Esmeralda. There will be lots of surprises in the show…
