1st GRADE: THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR

Our students in 1^st grade have had a fantastic time listening to the following story written once again by Eric Carle. Apart from studying the food, the numbers, the weekdays, we have also learnt the circle of life of a caterpillar. It’s so interesting!

Our students do love fruits, so we have prepared a picnic with: apples, pears, plums, strawberries, oranges and…SWEETS!

Welcome back everyone!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to school and welcome to a new year in our English classroom. We are pleased to introduce you our TEAM OF ENGLISH. This year we are four teachers: Monica, who will be teaching English to our students in P5 with the help of our favourite monkey; Jasmina, the teacher for 1st graders; Maria, who will have 2nd and 4th graders; and finally Sandra, teacher in 3rd, 5th and 6th Grade. Hello, everyone! We are Sandra and Claire, the two foreign language teachers in our school. Hi! I’m Claire. I’m very happy to work in Maria Mercè Marçal School. I will teach P5 and 1st Grade this year. I like Music, reading books and my favourite food is salad. Hi! I’m Sandra.
